Q. Can I really use it anywhere?
A. You can use DivotMat anywhere it’s safe to swing a golf club. Common places to practice with DivotMat are in your home, office, garage, back yard, as a warm up in the parking lot at the golf course.
Q. I’m just learning to play, how is this going to help me?
A. By seeing exactly what your club is doing when it hits the ball, you will be able to make adjustments to your stance, grip, and swing. Everytime you swing you will see exactly what happened. This visual feedback will make the learning curve much shorter and much more enjoyable. Plus as you find that groove, you will also develop consistency, and thereby reducing your score!
Q. I’m an advanced player? Can this really help me?
A. You bet, with DivotMat you can fine tune your swing and work on crafting shots just like the pros to meet the need of each shot on course. You will also improve your consistency by being able to practice anytime anywhere, even when it’s raining or the course is covered with snow.
Q. I have never been able to get rid of my slice no matter what I try… Can DivotMat really make a difference?
A. It worked for me… as soon as I saw what I was doing; it became pretty simple to make the adjustments needed to hit the ball straight down the fairway. You will be able to decide when to hit a fade or pull or straight shot simply by practicing with DivotMat.

Q. What if I’m left handed?

Q. Why do you say it’s a great warm up tool?
A. Because you will see exactly how you’re hitting the ball, without hitting the ball. Don’t have time to hit the range before teeing off... no problem, take a few swings on the DivotMat and you will know immediately if you need to take more to get that groove back.
Q How long do the DivotSheets last?
A. There are 9 ball images printed on each sheet and you can take multiple swings per ball. We recommend taking no more than 3 swings per ball… but that’s entirely up to you.
Q. Does this work for putting as well?
A. We’re sorry; you will need to find a different tool to practice your putting. There are a number of good tools available today.
Q. Will this improve my driving?
A. Certainly! Practicing with DivotMat fine tunes your swing, builds muscle memory, improves consistency and is a good work out too. Each of these elements lead to longer straighter drives.
Q. The bottom of my club has a green mark after using the DivotMat, how can I clean it off?
A. That mark is from the special ink used on the DivotSheets. It is very simple to remove simply by rubbing the affected area back and forth on the DivotPad. Take a moment to look at where the ink builds up before cleaning since this shows you exactly where your club sole is making contact with the DivotMat. It should be closer to the leading edge or face than towards the back. This shows that you are striking the ball down and through as you should for optimal control and distance.
